As requested by my two blog readers a post that has nothing to do with college basketball.
Random thoughts of a thoughtless mind.
-I know that we live in Columbus, Ohio but really can I get sports talk that doesn’t completely revolve around Ohio State and Big Ten football. The Big Ten is down and Ohio State will not be playing for a national title get over it move on.
-Our generation very unaccountable; whether it’s showing up on time to a party, saying yes to a sports team and never showing up to games and not paying for that spot on the team. I have to tell people to show up at 7:00 when I really want them there at 7:30 because I know that they are going to be half an hour late. How did this happen? We aren’t talking about showing up on time to work, we are talking about doing stuff with your friends. Do we really have such little respect? If you can’t come say so and don’t just say yes and not show.
-When are people going to realize that more government in your life is a bad thing. Why would I want the people that have managed to start and the bankrupt social security, start and nearly bankrupt the post office(which we knows is valid business ,UPS, FEDEX), have anything to do with my health care. If the US government was a business it would have been bankrupt a long time ago. When everything that they do goes over budget how can we trust any of their numbers?
-Another one that just kind of rubs me wrong, why do we think that the banks are the only reason for the housing market bubble? It was our government that wanted to raise home ownership from 64% to 69%. To accomplish this they forced banks to lower their lending standards without taking into account all of the foreclosures this would cause. The foreclosures and “toxic” loans that they created are one major forces that drove the stock market into this decline. It’s time we realize politicians create more problems then they fix.
-On a lighter side more likes sleeping with homeless people under stairwells.
-TJ can’t guard anyone and I still can’t dunk.
-I forgot to mention Marc Titus in my OSU blog. Titus is possibly the most important player on this year Ohio State team. He allows us to follow the team closer then anyone else in the country. I love Club Trillion and hope he keeps it going.
-The Ohio State Buckeyes will continue to role this weekend beating up a terrible Purdue team. Ohio State’s defense will probably out score Purdue’s offense.

Columbus Ohio sports talk will always revolve around the Big Ten and Ohio State football because that's all they've known for a long time. If the Blue Jackets continue to play well maybe they will talk more about them. But your hope of other sports talk is all just a dream...
ReplyDelete97.1 The Fan is a business - and business revolves around what the consumer wants and demands. People in Columbus want and demand sports talk radio that is pro Ohio State and revolves around the Buckeyes. 97.1 would be stupid to change anything about their current programming. The End.
ReplyDeleteTJ is an effective defended if he is alowed to stick his fingers up your butt and smack you in the penis. But you know that already, Wagg.
And don't sell yourself short on the dunking thing - the "Wagg Dunk" makes everyone jealous.
first off... this is a great name for a blog "Th Bill Wagg Show". I love it a lot....
ReplyDeleteSecond.. someday if and when u get married being "on time" will have a new meaning...
If I personally never participated in something that I didn't have cash on hand for, I would have the most boring life in the world...
I completely agree with the foreclosure thing... The Clinton administration actually FORCED Fannie and Freddie to back sub-prime mortgages because "all Americans have the right to own a house". HORSESHIT... people who can afford a home should have a home... retards.... Just because you have a job, any job, doesn't mean you should also own a house. Its bad "E-conomics" and completely goes against common sense.
Go Bearcats....
Real Deal I never said anything about money in hand I completely understand that.
